Someone among the hoaxing bastards has gotten cleverer; this is a very realistic-looking concept image. And it’s a shame it’s a fake, too, because it looks amazing. Maybe J.J. should reconsider whatever design he has now. I’m sure it would only add two or three million dollars to the production.
It looks like a whale (head, flippers, and repeating body sections) mixed with a bunch of squid’s tentacles. The “louse” looks like a trilobite mixed with a crab. A couple of sea creature mashups. Though well drawn, they’re pretty lame.
Sorry, no squid tentacles (I had another image found while browsing Google Image Search in mind) but the whale thing still applies.
