“The Obama Party”
Obama is building a high-tech Chicago-style political machine as part of a massive power grab that threatens both the Democratic Party and Netroots organizations. Any person — let alone a person as Nixonian as Obama — having that kind of power is highly disturbing. And I find it hard to believe that Corporate America is going allow its control of the Democratic Party via the DLC to be challenged in this manner without a fight — unless it’s supremely confident of its leverage on Obama.

SusanUnPC pretty well sums-up what many pro-Clinton have during this bloody, divisive (thanks to Obamacultists and Obama) primary:

It was bad enough, during the years of the Bush presidency, to feel like we were powerless to stop a war, to preserve Constitutional rights and guarantees, to protect our nation’s military viability, to give any attention to the massive needs in our own country — from our environmental peril to our crumbling infrastructure to our growing number of impoverished low-wage or unemployed people to our completely unfair health care system.

But now we have to feel powerless because a DNC bureaucracy doesn’t give a damn what we think? Doesn’t pay attention to the inability of its Chosen One to win the major electoral college states required to win the presidency? Doesn’t care that its Chosen One hasn’t the experience or the work ethic to truly make a difference should he, by some miracle, be elected? Doesn’t seem to realize that it is nearly guaranteeing the election of John McCain as the next president?

At least when we felt powerless during the Bush years, we had a enemy we could comprehend rationally. But now our enemy is the party that was supposed to be on OUR side…

But I’m not going to shut up. And the very best thing is that I know you aren’t either.

The “Barack HUSSEIN Obama” meme has taken root among many GOPsters. Of course these chuckleheads wouldn’t vote for a Democrat anyway, but they have a way of spreading their ignorance and bigotry to people who might be inclined to (i.e. swing voters).
