AM hate radio host Michael Smerconish fired a cheap, sexist shot at Obamacultist Arianna Huffington for revealing something John McCain might have told her in confidence. Smerconish, appearing on Hard Ball, said, “Isn’t this like a hooker who gives up a john? I mean, isn’t there some impropriety here?”
I wonder how many of Huffington’s fellow Obama worshipers (who are having apoplectic fits about Smerconish’s disgusting comment, no doubt) have made similar or worse comments about Hillary Clinton, or stood by while others engaged in sexist and even misogynistic anti-Clinton rhetoric?
I’d like to think that some of them might realize the error of their ways as a result of Smerconish’s latest bit of abuse, but I suspect that the cognitive dissonance on that side of what used to be known as the progressive blogosphere is simply too strong.
