For some reason, Bob Barr thought it would be a good idea to show up at Netroots Nation. Dday used the opportunity to speak with Barr — and the recorded conversation serves as an excellent reminder that Barr is still a pathetic right-wing hack.

I’m not particularly a Barr supporter, but I have to side with him here. I thought his arguments were cogent and articulate.
The reporter, however, played the game that always works, make the respondent look foolish by not letting him finish. Of course, that is also unfair and totally unprofessional.
Does that make you a left wing hack?
DDay didn’t make Bob Barr look foolish. BOB BARR made Bob Barr look foolish.
Barr was interrupted ONCE, then allowed to make his point. His point was inane. Barr then followed-up with several other inane statements. The blame for Barr’s foolishness lies squarely at his own feet, not the reporter’s.
Basically, Barr’s nonsense is akin to a police detective saying, “We have strong reason to believe, based on seven years’ worth of evidence, that John Doe has committed several cat burglaries in the past, is committing cat burglaries today, and plans to commit cat burglaries in the future.
“However, since we didn’t charge him back then, we’re not going to do so now — even though it might prevent him from committing future crimes — because we don’t want someone accusing us of being on a witch hunt. Being popular is more important to us than punishing Doe for his past and present wrongdoings, let alone preventing any crimes he is more than likely planning to commit in the future.”
Your inability (either by stubborn refusal or intellectual deficit) to comprehend this puts you in the “pathetic right-wing hack” corner with Barr. Enjoy each other’s company.
